甲申: a well of sweet water.
Why its Na Yin is called 井泉水, from 「论纳音取象」
气息安静，子母同位，出而不穷，汲而不竭
Its qi is calm; mother and child share one place, so it flows without end and cannot be drawn dry. (The San Ming Tong Hui calls this Na Yin 井泉水, well-spring water.)

Is 甲申 a good or bad pillar?
Not on its own; that depends on the whole chart, which this site does not read. Structurally, Jia has no root in 申, which clashes with 寅 and combines with 巳.
What is the Na Yin of Jia Shen?
